If students are hungry to learn, you’ll have very few issues with their behaviors. They’ll handle their own behavior if they are interested in what you’re doing. You’re spending effort on behavior that COULD be switched with emphasis on curiosity. Curiosity is the gateway to a hunger for learning. Paired with vulnerability and persistence, curiosity is a trait of great learners.
